Essential cookies
These keep our website secure and let you reserve and pay for your film. The site cannot work properly without them.
- crumb: protects our forms and pages from misuse. It lasts until you close your browser.
- CART and hasCart: remember that you have added a booking to your cart. They last up to 2 weeks.
- Checkout and payment cookies: our checkout is run by Squarespace, and payments are handled by Stripe. They may set cookies to keep your payment secure and to spot fraud.
Analytics cookies
These help us see how many people visit our website and which pages they view. We use the built-in analytics from Squarespace, our website provider.
- ss_cvr and ss_cvt: group your page views into one visit and tell new visitors from returning ones. ss_cvr lasts up to 2 years and ss_cvt lasts 30 minutes.
- Squarespace may also use ss_cid, ss_cvisit and ss_cpvisit for the same purpose.
We use this information to understand how our website is used and to improve it.
Content from other companies
Some pages load content from other companies. These companies can see your IP address, and some may set their own cookies.
- Vimeo: our home page plays our wedding films through Vimeo. We switch on Vimeo's "do not track" option, which stops its player from tracking you. Vimeo still sets a few security cookies.
- Google Fonts: our pages load their fonts from Google. Your browser contacts Google to get them, so Google can see your IP address.
- Enquiry form: the form on our Contact page comes from the system we use to manage enquiries and bookings. It may set its own cookies, for example to keep the form working.
- Cloudflare: the Contact page loads a small code library from Cloudflare so the form fits the page.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
